Bajaj Foundation, like a tree, derives its strength and nourishment from its roots. As the philanthropic arm of the Bajaj Group of companies, it works toward transforming communities by implementing sustainable Water Recharge Structures, River Rejuvenation Projects, and Skill Development Programmes for farmers to promote chemical-free Natural Farming, and create market linkages for farmers through Farmer Producer Organisations. Usage of Renewable Energy like Biogas and Solar Panels is another area where Bajaj Foundation is active. Deeply influenced by Gandhiji and Acharya Vinobaji Bhave, the Foundation believes in working towards the self-reliant and self-sustainability model for rural Indian communities, focusing on the theme of ‘Aatmanirbhar Gaon’ (self-reliant villages).
